I just got this last weekend and this morning one of the buds started opening and when I got home tonight I saw that 2 more had opened. I really enjoy the spotted blooms

I checked it this morning and have not noticed a scent. I will keep checking it and see if I can detect one. Hope you all have a great Memorial Day weekend!

So pretty!! The colors and spots are very nice. You should keep on smelling it, sometimes they don't develop a scent until the blooms are fully open and at their prime.

I bought one of these last week too. I couldn't resist it. I thought that I detected a mild scent just now but when I tried again there didn't seem to be any. Maybe I sucked it all up on the first sniff.

I had the same clone and it a had a sweet fragrance. It remains my favorite spotted compact hybrid. I love the form.

Even though mine was not healthy enough to survive my difficult conditions it is one of the few orchids I am willing to try again. If you were able to obtain a healthy plant showing potential for new growth I would appreciate it if you let me know your source.

I just checked again and still no scent. Paulemar I'm . I got mine from Louis Del Favero Orchids Inc in Tampa, FL. We went to see all the plants they have and they have quite an assortment. The plant is very healthy has a ton of new root growth and the leaves all are nice and firm.
