I hope mine turns out as beautiful. l could not resist it either last year when I saw the sample plant with stunning fragrant bloom. I was hoping that it would be smaller than Mabel Kanda, the mother. When I took it home I noticed the leaves were full of pitting so I placed it in water culture, and in isolation with not the best light. Well it has produced a beautiful new growth with burgundy red tinge, great roots, and seems to be budding. So it it is a very adaptable plant.
We must have been on the same wavelength because I also bought the Chacao Anachelium, Prosthechea chacaoensis which is reputed to have the fragrance of Lily-of-the-valley, daphne, and roses.
