I am a fan of eldorados. I see that this species is not cultivated outside my country, and even here it has a presence that only now has been increasing a little. Most of the times it is said that this flower doesn’t have a place on the benches' collectors due to its poor shaped flowers and also because it would not be a good parent in hybridization. Could be. But, I really don't mind whether they are or not good shaped in the orchid collectors sense. The fact is that it has its own and unique characteristics, its own beauty. And several variations too, which always makes collectors joy.
The second photo is of a flower, which opened last December, just to illustrate that the species clearly demonstrates potential for good flowers.
