Default broke my catt luteola...can the older growth be saved?

I was trying to repot my luteola and I heard that dreaded "snap"........I broke it in half

the newest growth is potted up and is fine, but there are about 4 very small pseudo bulbs together with NO roots....can it be saved by sphag and bag????
