I bought this miniature because I liked the unusual name. It produces a single bloom that is very cute.

That IS cute!! I love the bright sunny yellow with that clear red lip!
I like chids with unusual names, too. It's part of the fun of growing them, I think.

Actually I haven't heard of this hybrid, I quite like it.
Now called Sophrocattleya Lone Star Blonde (Sophrocattleya Tangerine Imp x Cattleya Petite Pride)
So it's now an Sc instead of Slc.
Petite Pride has always been a good plant to hybridise with but I haven't heard of Tangerine Imp.
Anyway lovely little flower, I would love to own it.
