The leaf span on the pseudobulb that is blooming is about 8 inches (spans both leaves).

Hi Dr_dmd,
For this guy, I have done a little experiment. I decided to mount it on the cork slab and hang it under my vandas on the south side of my growing area (this provides a little more light in the winter months). I water it every day and fertilize once a week, just like what I do for the vandas. I did not give it a winter rest. The roots are amazing and are growing all over the back side of the mount...healthy roots mean a happy plant

I love the natural mounting method. Adds to the overall beauty of the specimen, not that it needs it. A absolutely mesmerizing flower.
