A Good Reminder
Sometimes we all need to keep a reminder around. Several years ago, I was really heavy into species Catts. I had a number of C. schillerianas, a couple of which I thought were extra nice. So, with a single toothpick and 9 years of waiting, the waifs started to flower. I still keep a couple around to remind me that two PhD parents don't always have smart kids!

I think those blooms are very pretty. I like unique, and you don't see them like that often. Most are very... "frilly" and floofy!

I'm doing very well I think Bolero. When I got up this morning and looked outside, the green side of the grass was showing, so it has to be a great day!
I'm not so sure Virgil. I have a son well into their 40's going on 16!!!!
Thanks all for the kind comments, but maybe I'll never get rid of the last traces of being a judge. I keep comparing this flower to that of C. shilleriana 'Raspberry Jam' AM/AOS. If you can find a picture of it, you will know what I mean. The one saving grace of the pictured plant is it's fragrance is typical for the species. Even I can smell it!!
