Your comment about the stage of the blooming of my plant is out of line though. Should have asked, not assumed. That image is taken with freshly bloomed flowers and they never have more than a VERY slight red to the lip, almost clear.

Steven i think the problem is that are many cultivars of Blc Golden Tang (BLC WAIKIKI GOLD X BL RICHARD MUELLER).
I made a google research and found:

I'll make a new photo today to show you that MINE Golden Tang begins the blooming as red color and finish as yellow color, maybe a characteristic of MINE cultivar...

I will have to see if I can find pictures of the parents. I am just realizing that being a HYBRID plant the children could take on LOTS of permutations in color.

Blc Golden Tang 'Bella' x Blc Mason Taylor 'Brace' 1736 does not count though since it is GT crossed with a totally different parent!!!!
