The flower is just regular as to the form, but is good to illustrate how dark this species can be.

Those blooms look great, Mauro. And your plant looks like it behaves itself nicely, with growths closely spaced on a short rhizome (unlike most of the walkerianas I've seen). Congratulations.

Interesting that you mention that, Steve. I got back to the photo (the plant has been sent to our regional show) because this is something I hadn't payed attention... you are right, the pbs are close to each other, almost crowded.
