Lc. Memoria Robert Strait 'Blue Hawaii'
'Blue Hawaii' is one of several varieties of Lc. Memoria Robert Strait that have been cloned and made available to orchidists. The shape of 'Blue Hawaii' is not great but the color of the lip and pencil thin flares are outstanding. This plant was raised from a community pot purchased in July 2005.

I posted variety 'Islander Delights' earlier. 'Islander Delights' is larger, rounder and flatter. It also has outstanding color.

I picked up one of these a while back. I'm anxiously awaiting - especially now. Nice pics!
Does this one bloom for you in a particular season or on each mature growth?

Mel,
They both look great! I remember that this one has one of the strongest Catt scents. I wish we could broadcast smells across the internet!
