Lc. Molly Tyler
The hybrid is pre-hystoric (1930) , but still beautiful. The setback is that it has been made in a time the plant size didn't matter much... It is huge to say the less (one of the pseudo bulbs has leaf span reaching almost two feet and I'm not kidding !!)

Wow, that's beautiful Mauro! What time of the day do you take photos for a flower of that color?

This one has been on my want list for a long time. The colors are so vibrant! It's not easily found here.
Mauro, could you post a picture of the big pseudo bulb? I'd love to see it.
Also, I realize the flowers are not huge on this one, what do they measure?
Thanks for sharing her!

This is a simple hybrid of second generation, Suzie. The parents are Lc. Mrs. W.N.Elkins (which, by its turn, is Laelia purpurata crossed with Cattleya bowringiana) and Cattleya Leda (which is C. dowiana crossed with C. percivaliana).
The combination of Laelia purpurata and C. bowringiana produced a strong, huge plant.

Yes, Debs, I'm taking a picture of the plant showing the monster !!
The flowers are intermediate in size, more or less 4.3" across.
