Thanks to every one for such a nice comments. Steve, in the pictures are three plants, the first two pictures are the same plant and is growing on a small tree in my backyard, the plant was originally pretty big but after four years grew considerably and each year is offering me more and more flowers. The third picture is another plant and was mounted on fern slabs in a basquet and also is growing very healthy. The semi alba I bought it last year in very bad conditions and finally survived. This cattleya is very easy to grow and likes pleanty of morning sun up to eleven o clock. As I mentioned before the colors of the lip and its curly shape makes this specie the most beatufill of all cattleyas and it is almost impossible to find two alike, that is why I compare cattleyas mossiaes with humans, you won´t find two identical individuals. Here in Venezuela in eastern time people who have this specie ussualy donates the flowers to the catholic church to decorate Jesus Christ for the processions during the holly week, this year my wife will take them as ussual she did every year to one famous church here in Caracas .
