Cattleya Bob Betts 'Perfection'
One classic hybrid from the time of the 'white fever' (50-60's). This cross received 66 awards in twenty years (35 AM, 2 FCC) and still is a beautiful, fragrant flower. Interesting is that it is basically Cattleya mossiae (69%) with a small contribution of C. trianae and C. gaskelliana.

I love it, but then it's hard to beat anything with Bow Bells in the background.

That's another nice one Mauro! ' Perfection' suits it very well. Looks like a fried egg! (LOL, got food on the brain, I'm hungry!)

Mauro, it's fabulous. I love my C. Bob Betts plant and it's one of the main reasons why I look forward to fall. Interesting to learn that it's mostly C. mossiae, although now I'm not sure why it flowers at the "wrong" time of the year for me (October) if both mossiae and gaskelliana (both of which are getting ready to flower now for me) are dominant in its genetic background. Congratulations on your beautiful flowers.
