Pseudolaelia vellozicola
This is a genus of interesting small flowers resembling some Laelias (hence the name). On the other hand, the plant itself is more similar to the Encyclias except for the long, vine-like rhizome in Pseudolaelia. The genus is exclusively Brazilian, occurring in the southeast region of the country.

Hi,
Thanks for the wonderfull photos you post.
I am intrigued by odd , abberant genuses, like the above,Cattleyopsis,Lanium,Neocaugniauxia etc.
You are very lucky to live in a place so rich in orchids.
All the best.

Nice color although it looks very much to Brassia.

Nice one, Mauro!
I just checked the Schomburgkia genus -- another one that has been splintered by the taxonomists!
Considering the wide range of the former group, this isn't surprising.

It's lovely. I got a plant last year. It is such a creeping one that it tends to walk out of the pot.

Very nice, Mauro! Totally unfamiliar genus to me. Gorgeous color, and yeah, I love the lip on that! Thanks for bringing these guys to our attention.
