Default C. Califlora‘Z-1030’

It is a cutting-flower cattleya and can produce 3-4 blooms on each stem.
The flower is about 6-8" wide and is perfumed.

It is the cross between C. mossiae and C. J. A. Carbone and was registered in 1984.

I did a Google search for this orchid and like I expected, found nothing.

I'll just add it to my want list and wait. The good ones are hard to come by.

Thanks Pheli!! What gorgeous pictures. You know, I couldn't read much on that page, so I just clicked on anything that would click and I stayed for quite a while looking at all the beautiful cattleya and reading about their breeding.

It's all quite interesting and informative. I appreciate the link.
