Im always surprised by how quickly this plant puts out growth. I would guess that from nubbin to mature bulb is 4 or 5 weeks and then another week for the flowers to start to open. Lightning quick growth for a Catt or any 'chid for that matter! This is a second bloom for this plant and instead of the one flower it gave me last year, I got three on this growth!! I was not able to capture the true color of the pink. In real life it is a very dark, very vivid pink. I havnt gotten the full feel for my camera yet, so the pink is a bit washed out. Oh well, next growth!! Anywho, enjoy!!
