Nice job Calvin!! They're both gorgeous.

My Appleblossom is in bud right now. It was in sheath FOREVER......like months! I think if I keep it well watered I'll end up with 4 flowers on this spike.

Thanks for the wonderful comments, everyone - it is much appreciated.

Terri - YES this one really tests the patience...the sheath formed in fall, and just sat there the entire winter, taunting me. Is it dead? Is it alive...should I do something about it? Glad to hear yours is spiking

The fragrance of the snowflake is a little weird...a bit too chemically for my tastes..but the apple blossom is fantastic

The Dialaelia Snowflake is so unusual and blooms in the Winter. Is it fragrant?
