Default Sophrocattleya Luminosa

Several months ago, a friend of mine gave me a sickly Slc. Luminosa (dowiana x tenebrosa) it's bloom was malformed due to the plant's condition...it eventually died.

Last week-end a good friend of mine (the same wonderful person that parted with that awesome Den. aggregatum ) gave me another Slc. Luminosa that had two big, beautiful buds on it. The plant, again, isn't in great shape (he bought out an old grower that was hand watering 1200+ plants) but I'm confident it will green up with proper care.

These blooms are absolutely gorgeous! Enjoy!
