For the record, it was in bud when I got it from Seagrove orchids. What you don't see is all the roots!

Hey Tiki,

I have a few of this cross, one is 'Carmella's Blue'. Is this one really just 'Carmella' or could it be just that the tag was buried?

Well Royal, the tag was hand written but it just says 'Carmela'. It has just one "L" in it. I noticed this when I bought it a few weeks back. They had about a dozen to choose from and they all had the same tag and spelling. I should note, too, that the pics came out more blue than it truly is. It's more of a lavendar-purple with a rosy pink undertone. My camera (Kodak V570) takes wonderful landscape shots, but bad closeups.
