Looking at your pics, I noticed that the leaves were a very dark green. My guess would be that your plant needs more light for larger blooms. My digbyana gets full Hawaiian sun in the middle of the day (even in summer) here in Hawaii!! The leaves are a red/purple/gray/blue color with very little green (weird huh?!). Did you move your plants this year away from the sun or bulbs? That would be my guess for smaller blooms.

Very exotic looking. I love the lip. And there is another flower to come yet. Very nice job.
