Default Wide petals in Cattleya bicolor

That's why (among so many other things ) I like buying seedlings! I love the expectation of the first flower! And, bonus, sometimes you have a nice surprise! This is the first flower of a tiny seedling I bought times ago. The plant still is small for a Cat. bicolor (10" or 25cm) but decided to show its face! The petals and sepals in this flower are broader than the average and the overall look is round. I like it!

I'm with you on buying seedlings, Mauro. Surprises are half the fun. This guy is really nice.

Wow mauro...this really is an outstanding bicolor! The color, shape and fullness are all fantastic in my opinion.
