Anacheilium cochleatum
This is a continuous bloomer. Has two pbulbs. I can't imagine how it will perform with more pbulbs.
This is an excellent example of a non resupinate orchid. That is, most orchids twist around 180 degrees before blooming, so they are anatomically upside down. This is one of those that is "correct" in anatomy (this one must have read the book on plant morphology), with the lip on the dorsal side.

They are synonyms. The thing about scietific names, is that even though there is only 1 valid name, its hard to figure which one it is, for novices like me that is. However, 1 species can have many scientific names (never officially), but only 1 plant belongs to any scientific name. Unlike common names which can belong to many different species.

Ya know Tin, I just love this one. Is yours scented aswell?
I'll always find a space in my grow area. Fast growers, wonderful bloomers. Seems they're always doing something. The bulbs don't even get fully matured for these too bloom.
Mine just finished up a couple of days ago ...
BTW - Tin is right on the current name.

Thanks Lagoon. Yes, mine is heavily scented, and has quickly become a favorite in the lab.

Nice one, Tindo! I like the type, but also the alba variety, which is not easy to find here now.

Thanks Rosim, I have never seen the alba type. It must be nice as you say.
