I saw the plants for you. They sold last night. I think they would have been right up your alley

I can recommend them. Their plants are reasonably priced and packing and shipping was great.

I'm a bit of a spotted Cat junkie myself.

Sacrilege! Eating orchids?! You know, just like in a vase, they don't last nearly as long in your stomach as on the plant. I know they have a gorgeous shine and may look good enough to eat, but...well, do what you want, just post pictures of your beautiful blooms here before you ask to pass the salad dressing!

Now you guys see why I like the gold ones so much? Although, maybe I should get one of the greener ones AND a gold one. After all, what's better than one orchid? Well, a dozen or more really, but two is good also....

Sorry for the slight hijacking. Let's all go back to admiring the very gorgeous orchid that started this thread shall we?

Hi all,

I like this one. It looks like someone took a Phal. bastianii and gave it a Catt. lip, or a fat lip.

I've heard of eating daylily buds, pansies, and a few other flowers but never heard of mention to orchids?? Just might be yummy!

What was the terrestrial orchid Eric Hansen (orchid fever) was in search of in Turkey ( I think) that makes a creamy gelato?
