A beautiful example of a Cattleya crosses created in Belgium at a time where the orchids cultivation was at its apogee and very elitist(1850 in 1914). These is in flower in my veranda since a couple of days. Three other spaths will be mature soon.

B-E-A-UTIFUL !!! I love the old classic cattleyas, so beautiful they are timeless!
This reminds me of Bc. Deese except the lip on this one is more of a soft pastel-like blush....

Thanks Jan, I am living in Vallonia but this hybrid was probably created in the Flemish part of Belgium. For me it is not a problem, I have many friends in Flanders.
