I read that in the past orchid growers tried to force orchids to bloom for Valentine's day. This one has done it twice in a row without my trying. However, for me, Valentine's Day takes second place. It is primarily twin orchids for my twin daughter's birthday.

The next picture is its first blooming this time last year when it was still in water culture.
