Default Epidendrum ramosum

This green Epidendrum species is commonly found in the humid forests near the Ocean Atrantic in the southeastern Brazil. The plant produces several spikes making a nice visual effect.

Nice beauty and quite tall, huh? I'm not very familiar with these type plants, but I think I will be taking a closer look.

Now mine looks even sadder than it did before I saw this picture!

How are you growing yours?

The general care is the same the other reed stemmed Epi need except that this species needs very, very bright light, almost full sun, otherwise it won't grow well and flower, Susanne.

Then I guess I'll be moving mine into brighter light!

It was looking really bad for a while, thought I was losing it but lately it has started to pick up a bit. Some more light might just be what the doctor ordered

Thanks Mauro
