Default Orchid Identification Help

When I have learned how to upload a photo, is it possible to get help identifying mostly cats, in this forum? In '04 & '05 hurricanes blew many labels from their pots and I am clueless as to their identity. A few are blooming now.

We can give it a try, but as you probably are already thinking, it will be very difficult if not impossible to get an exact ID on hybrid NOIDs etc... But I say, post them pics anyway. Sorry about that hurricane.

Post away!!!

We may not be able to get the naming
accomplished but we'll get to see your lovely 'chids

If it's at all possible to come up with a solution to
your problem, this is the one place it has a great
chance of being solved...but it wouldn't be easy
or guaranteed either

Names will be next to impossible but we would love to see pictures of your blooms.

Did you manage to save any of the labels?

Most of the labels are probably in another state. Also most of the orchids are species. I will try to learn how to upload in the next couple of days. Thanx for the replies,

Orchonubee, well try the best we can, it will be hard to identify exactly like others expressed but it's just great knowing you have accomplished saving what you do have. Where are you located???

Default Orchid ID

Good Morning I'd like to thank all for their response to my post. I'm located on Florida's East Coast, below Palm Bay in the town of Valkaria, zone 9b.
Now to figure out how to upload recent photos on my computer, of orchids in bloom. Any tips I can get in accomplishing this would be greatly appreciated.

The images have to be online somewhere - Picasa Web Album, WebShots, pbase, etc., if you don't have a personal website.

Then, when you create a message here, you will see a yellow icon above the right corner of the text entry field. Clicking on that will allow you to enter the URL of the image.

Thanx Ray. I went to Picasa, created an account, uploaded a few photos, and now to link them here.

Thanx to Ray, I am posting a link to a few orchid pics, I uploaded to my new Picaso site. Pics 1 & 7 were taken in mid Dec '06, the others in July '06. This was a bit time consuming as I am learning, but it got easier as I went along.
