Default Laelia xanthina

Beautiful yellow flowers of intermediate size. The flowers are not so large as those on L. purpurata, but are as showy as them.

Very nice! This may sound odd, but the shade of yellow and the white on the lip instantly made me think of lemon-meringue pie... Maybe it's because I'm really hungry right now?

WOW Mauro !!! I want to get me one of those !!!! It's beautiful !!! and the pointy lip looks awesome !!!! Are these flowers fragrant ????

Kiki, it's a new shoot that is getting mature, but it is not going to produce flowers. This species finishes growing the new pseudo bulbs by the middle of spring then rests two or three months until the beginnings of the summer to flower. Pseudo bulbs produced out of this pattern do not flower.
