Beautiful Cattleya rex

I've been growing this plant for long time, twelve years more or less. It is one of my all time favs because of the naturally yellow flowers with showy lips. I have been always very careful with its cultural needs, but three years ago I decided to give a piece for a dear friend. Did the cut in a bad hour for sure, because the plant lost almost all pseudo bulbs (only two left at the time) all the leaves fell and the plant went down to a seedling size. I thought I was loosing it when I decided one year and a half ago to plant what had rested of it in pure moss. The best thing I could have done ! The reaction can be seen in the photo that follows.
