Thats good info to know Mauro! Thanks! I especially like the color contrast that you were able to capture in the true bicolor picture. I posted a Landate not long ago and was not able to really capture the contrast of the dark petals against a vibrantly pink lip. How do you do it? As always, thanks!!

Hard to say, Virgil! It seems to me that it has small side lobes, but the frontal view don't allow me to be positive about that. If you confirm that it has side lobes than it clearly has a high percentage of Cat. bicolor, but seem not to be pure.

Steve, in this case you will notice that the light source (always coated sunlight in my photos) is positioned more or less at 11 o'clock. In this position the petals/sepals presented the right color, but the lip was too much washed. So I used a piece of milky plastic to reduce the light that was falling upon the lip, preserving the rest of the flower.
