The name couldn't be more appropriate to this vibrant flower! It is a well succeeded cross between Cattleya Chocolate Drop and Cattleya forbesii. It really reminds something like a burnt cream... hummm....!!!
Unfortunately, the registered name is "Creme Brule" (whatever is the genus name they are giving now!), an evident disrespect to the French grammatical rules once Crème is feminine and therefore the adjective must come in concordance, with the second 'e'. I chose to write it correctly, but this is a personal choice
