Default C. mossiae (Outdoors in Venezuela)

For those of you who like pictures and like Cattleyas I was organizing my pictures and found this one... This is a very old C. mossiae (> 20 years) growing in the garden of our house in Venezuela.. the pictures from 2004... It receives no special treatment, but seasonal rainings, and from time to time some water during the dry season...

enjoy...

Beautiful! It's amazing how much we fuss over our orchids and to see one like that growing outside with no one caring for it but mother nature...

Now that is cool. I am so envious of those on the board who can grow outside!
