Default Laelia Anceps - Mexico
A visitor from Mexico came to our club last year and had 3 single pseudobulb divisions of this Laelia. I was fortunate to get one of them. They had 1/4 in. roots at best. I potted never thinking it would develop into anything. Well, I was wrong. It grew two other pseudobulbs and low and behold, one developed a spike, bud, and yes today a flower. Don't know parentage but I will enjoy!

Hi Don

What beautiful colors. You are really good at rehabilitating orchids.

I think this could easily pass for one of the many varieties of the Mexican species Laelia anceps.
