A gift from a friend...
My friend Linda handed me this beauty yesterday at our party...it's such a pretty shade of yellow, very fragile looking
The plant is Bc. Daffodil
Thanks, Lin

Linda is nice! Looks like she's good with orchids, too.

It has a very slight fragrance. Kind of sweet but hardly there, ya know?
...and yes, Linda is very nice and not just because she's given me some lovely plants

Wish I had friends like that Sue. My 'friends' are vendors and they always seem to want money from me.

What a great friend you have Sue and a very nice plant.
Might it be that your plant is Bc. Daffodil (Brassavola glauca x Cattleya aurantiaca)?
Blc. Daffodil (Brassolaeliocattleya Irma x Brassocattleya Trimabilis) is a complex hybrid with C. trianae, mossiae and dowiana in it.

Both tags (the original and Linda's when she repotted) say Blc Daffodil. This plant was given to Linda a few years ago from a friend who inherited her grandfather's collection and this was among the group
I just went and checked again...I stand corrected! Thank you
It IS Bc Daffodil
I just LOVE this place
