Rsc. Dewy Forest 'Kudos'
Here is a photo of my Rsc. Dewy Forest 'Kudos' (it used to be a Blc.).
I was really happy to see this bud open up, as I had two other spikes on this plant that completely blasted, along with a second bud on this spike. The big payoff is that this bloom measures 6 inches across!  |

Dana...I have no idea other than I think that the first two spikes got too hot...they started to make their appearance a couple of months ago when it was still quite warm here...but who knows for sure...it's just one of those blasted things.

I know what you mean about this one not looking real...it actually doesn't even feel that real either...its texture is heavy, and it almost feels like plastic.  |

That color is sensational. Before I became an orchid enthusiast, this is what I used to imagine most orchids to look like. It doesn't get more beautiful than this.
