Default Scaphyglottis violacea is finally blooming
This one took me by surprise! I kept looking at it for signs of something, but nothing was happening for weeks on end, then all of the sudden I decided to recheck on it after a few days of ignoring it and voila, a few flowers and about 4 other bunches of buds waiting to open. Very cute, but the flowers are quite tiny!

Thanks to you all for the kind compliments.
I really wasn't sure what to expect with this plant except for presuming that the flower would have purple in it!
Sometimes when I get a new plant, I try not to look it up in advance so that I will be surprised when it flowers and in this case it was a surprise that I almost missed...
