Default Cattleya lueddemanniana

Regular flower of the species. This was one of the first lueddemanianas I acquired, many years ago.

I like it, you know Dounoharm, because it was with it that I learnt how go grow lueddemannianas, I mean, I acquired it as a seedling many years ago to see whether I could grow them (luedds) or not. It has a long way with me, so I have a special care for it!

I know what you mean, Mauro. It's like having a dear old friend, that just keeps giving.

It certainly is beautiful mauro...and I know what you mean about special plants...I was actually given a young luedde about 2 years ago as a gift, and it is finally starting to develope its first sheath...I noticed it about two weeks ago. I hope that it will bloom this coming season...and that it's as beautiful as yours.

Thanks for your post!

Very nice flower. I am very interested by this species because one of my plants which I believed being a mossiae is actually a lueddemanniana. Thank you Jan.
