Greetings -
Not all of the buds have opened, but this has grown into quite a monster. A few people describe the scent of these flowers as 'stinky' - I'd say a combination of overripe banana and cat pee with just a touch of nail polish remover, but not unpleasant.
Yes, shamless bragging, but I just can't help it.
Enjoy - Nancy

That's a beautiful plant - bragging rights absolutely should come with it!
But, I will admire it from afar, cause ..."a combination of overripe banana and cat pee with just a touch of nail polish remover,,, just ain't right

That sounds like an interesting scent. I wonder what pollinator(s) it attracts. In any case, I hope to experience it someday. And I suppose the bigger the plant, the better the banana-pee-nail polish remover fragrance will be!

What a beautiful blooming on such a healthy plant. I'm jealous....congrats. So with that scent, do you keep it in the house?
