Gorgeous bloom, Terri. I bought this one a couple of years ago, blooming size from OrchidGro and literally, overnight every bulb rotted and dropped dead. Something got to it, had never seen that happen before or since. I thought it was supposed to be more red also but preferably, I like the colors on yours.

Enjoy and Happy Holiday!

It's a beauty Terry. I have 'Shin Shy' AM-AOS. It is in bud now. It tried to bloom on a mature growth in Sept. but the buds rotted. It is currently budding on an inmature growth now. I have read that when a plant is in bud it requires a little more water than usual because it is producing flowers that takes a lot of energy. If it does not get ample water it cannot support all of the buds and sometimes some of them will blast.

Thanks for the tip Jerry! Next time I see buds I'll try watering a little more and see if I can't mature them both.

I am also usually not a fan of the floof, but sometimes they are so eye-searingly, brain-scorchingly DRAMATIC that I can help but love them! And I'd say that one fits into that catagory . . . its magnificent!

WOW Terri, I love that bloom. Floof is nice to have once in a while. Fragrance too. I'm waiting for the first bloom on mine. No buds yet. You sure did a great job of reblooming yours. Hope it lasts till your family sees what you did. I remember the posting last year about losing the bloom. Looks like it was worth the wait
