Default It Must be Christmas !

Angraecum isn't the only genus that can claim a "Christmas" orchid. This Cattleya species always reminds me of my grandmother. I can remember as a small child, my grandmother would make a large batch of "lye soap" every year. This orchid has a distinct fragrance that even I can detect and is reminiscent of that of "grandma's lye soap"

You had me going there for a minute with the Angraecum comment. Never knew they were called the Christmas orchid. Thanks for sharing.
