Default Panarica prismatocarpa

Well, this was once Epidendrum, then used to be Encyclia... then Prosthechea, then Pseudencyclia, then Panarica... Let's see how long this last name will last before someone decides to change it once more! Anyway, too good that the flower itself knows no names and only shows its beauty! Enjoy!

Agreed, those name changes in this family leave my head spinning. NICE plant you have there!

In the war between lumpers and splitters, I'm not sure who is winning but most of us haven't been changing our plant tags! The further lumping of most of the Sophronitis group (new one) into Cattleya will cause some hair pulling. The lumping of Odontoglossum into Oncidium is even more disconcerting to traditional nomenclature.

Nice Encyclia!

What a stunning plant and flower, Mauro! Obviously, it doesn't care a bit what it is called, it is just happy to be it's self.

You're full of reason, Kim! In these cases, beauty has no names!
