Default Epi Nocturnum

Second bloom from current spike. It grows sideways in my window, so the bloom is turning toward the glass. Even the tip of the lip is turning!

Beautiful!! Mine is a small plant still. Always wanted one that opened the flowers (all plants in my region are cleistogamic, so they are spread everywhere, but you don't see any flowers!).

Neat looking bloom, George! I like it. Is it fragrant?

Thanks Shirley! Yes it is fragrant, mostly at night when it is quite strong. Mine smells like sugar cookies and burning leaves. I'll never get rid of it though!

I really like the flower because it is so interesting. It has a very strong resemblance to Epi. Ciliare yet the growth habit is totally different.
