Default Cattleya leopoldii var. flamea 'Rubi'

Wonderful color on these flowers! It is one of those things you stand and stare...! It is a young plant, blooming out for the first time, from a batch of seedlings I acquired a few years ago.

It is a stunner! Does make you want to stare at it for some time....love the shading of colors. And of course the upright growth habit. Mine seems to grow more out to the side and has to be staked. The erectness really show the flowers to best advantage.

Those color are great! This looks like another peloric one. Is it from the same group that has been blooming recently for you?

Those flowers don't even look real! They look like wax flowers.

I can imagine standing and looking at them for a good long while! They're very pretty!!
