It's a beauty!!! Can you identify this Cattleya???

Attention orchid detectives. Attached is a photo of a Cattleya that I recently purchased online from a grower in Hawaii. Isn't she a beauty!!! Can you help me identify it???

When I bought the orchid, I ordered it as Blc. Lawless Zauberflote 'Rainbow'. When I compared the actual bloom to what is shown on their web site, it is different from this. The bloom is exquisite but I'd still like to know the true variety name. Thanks for your help.

The grower is insisting that they sent me the correct variety but that is definitely not the case. That is why I'm seaking the assistance of OrchidBoard members. Thanks.

Your photo looks very much like the photo of Blc. Lawless Zauberflote that is shown on Orchidwiz. Their photo shows the same markings with the colors a little deeper, which could just be a photography glitch.

I think you have the correct plant

What grower did you get it from? I'd like to see the picture they show on their site.

If it was seed grown there can be a difference between plants from the same seed pod , like twins not looking alike .. Gin

The grower is Aloha Orchids in Hawaii. The first photo is what they say the flower looks like. The second photo I took of one in bloom at the Tampa Orchid Show. The correct blossom is much larger 6" inches across alot more frilly and pink. The blossom on the one that I have is only 3" across and more raspberry purple/yellow in color.

I would have to agree, I think your plant is correctly marked. Very pretty flowers!
