Default Cattleya walkeriana

This is a first bloom of a cross between Sakura Snowball and Divina. I like the sharp angles on this one and the scent is awesome! Unfortunately it is growing in a high slug traffic area so I had to move the plant to a safer area and it caused the second flower to shift directions. Hopefully next time I will get it so they both face the same direction. As you can see it is mounted, as are all my walkerianas.

Thanks everyone! Im hoping that next year Ill get an even better bloom!!
Beto,
The white plastic/wire is being used as a spacer. Because I changed the position of the plant to save it from becoming a slug salad, the second flower to open twisted (I think you can see this in some of the pics) and was really crowding the first flower. The wire is very stiff so it is actually pushing the flowers away from each other.

So normally I dont post pics of subsequent blooms on the same plant, but this one is a bit strange. This plant first bloomed in early December and is now blooming again in mid March so it is definitely having a second blooming and not just a continuation of the original. Whats interesting is that this guy has flowers coming out of an older p-bulb and not the newest one. It just goes to show that there is hope for flowers from older p-bulbs that have not bloomed! Not much hope IMO, but a little bit non-the-less!! I took some more pics too. Enjoy!
