Laelia rubescens var alba x aurea

finally replaced the rubescens that I lost over 10 years ago. Only problem is that I hear most now consider the aurea a full species! So I may not have a true rubescens. oh well it certainally is close enough for me. Here is its first blooming for me. This also has a slight scent that i would describe as floral and musky?

Yes this is a primary hybrid. Apparently var. aurea was seperated from rubescens alltogether in 1990. Some changes are a little slow to catch on.
