I keep this one on a rack that doesn't really get very high light for most of the day but it does get almost full west sun in the afternoons.

Very nice, Susanne! I picked up one of these at the Home Depot (NBS), so I'm hopin' to see it's first bloom this year.....now I have something to look forward to. The cultivar name of mine is 'Kodama', though. You should get a picture of that on a better background, for this year's calendar!

I was thinking the same thing, now that all four blooms on the first spike are open and one on the second (which has five buds) has started to open

The second spike is in full bloom

Still looking forward to the third spike which has three buds!

It sure is putting on quite a show for you!

I noticed though that the blooms in the pics you posted in the beginning are much darker than the ones you just posted. I suppose it has to do with lighting, but what color are the blooms in real life? More like the first set or the second set of pics?

The first pics were taken on the first day the blooms opened in addition to being in different lighting for the

The actual color of the blooms are what the first picture shows
