Epidendrum peperomia
I know I know, it looks like an Epi porpax and it is the acceptable species for porpax but the plants look very different.
Thanx for looking!

The leaves are often a more purple color when they're growing in very bright light. Dana, seeing as yours is blooming without purple leaves, I would think you've found it's "happy place" without very bright light...
Goes to show, once again...whatever works for you in your conditions

i have to agree with that, i grow my orchids in conditions most people would never even consider, and i haven't killed one yet. i guess i just expected it to be a lot more purple than it is.

LOL...it's just a part of this wild wonderful obsession of ours I just love the diversity of it all
So many different orchids being grown in so many different ways...with no one specific set of "rules"...gotta love it!

to be honest, I do not see what is different from this Epi porpax... it really seems to be a typical porpax (is there is something like a typipal porpax)... I ave seen plants from purple to light green..

Me also. I like this one (the porpax, or whatever) but don't see any diff between the two last posts.

Looks wonderful, and obviously a very happy orchid! I'm wondering the same thing as Ramon. What is the difference between porpax and peperomia?
