I had no clue what the heck it was but man it sure is pretty.I love the way you are growing it too. Is it a miniature orchid?
yes, it's a miniature. the flowers are about 1/2 inch across, but the plant grows pretty quickly and forms mats. check out the specimen they have over at Orchids Limited. they sell small divisions of that.
The peperomia, according to Orchidwiz is an excepted sepcies of the porpax. Both plants are considered minis but can quickly form specimen sized plants if cared for correctly.
It's difficult to see in the photo but the peperomia's foliage is actually purple or purplish over most of the plant.
wait wait wait a second.. you mean that peperomia and porpax have been separated "again"
for me peperomia and porpax have always been the same plant... and I have seen plants which are normally quite purple, others light green, others dark gren (all growing together at the sam enursery, so it is not an influence of more or less light ) plantss with dark flowers, and plants with light flower, and even some alba forms...

they're still considered the same species, but some people use the different names to refer to different varieties. mine came labeled "Nanodes matthewsii"

Here's another neat little note: my peperomia's leaves are considerably smaller than those of the porpax AND there are acutally "alba" blooms on the peperomia... right next to a bloom that looks normal is one that has no red on it....
