The gigantic ones seem to be on hangers so having them make an orchid ball is not an issue if you want specimens. I would think they are fine growing on top of themselves and are already beautiful specimens and will only get better with age.

How do you repot something that you can't even see the pot anymore?
I do not want to devide, only repot where I absolutely have to.
Maybe I need some close up pics of the pots/baskets?

Weebl...that sounds like the ticket I was looking for...so I can just let them grow on themselves? Just like huge vandas?

I agree with the "leave them as specimens" advice. Of course you could always take a few divisions for friends or for trades. But only the peices that keep it from fitting into a new pot.

I would go to wherever you buy pots, get a large "bulb pan". They are shallow but wide (for forcing a large display of tulips or the like). Just see what will fit. Use some lava rock to help with drainage or to just support it in a nice position. Then, sprinkle your favorite bark medium into the cracks and crevices. The pot itself will be like a mount and the medium that fills the gaps will just keep the humidity up and hold it in place. If you have to cut a few pieces off to make it fit, just soak it really well first. I use a kitchen knife.

Yeah, leave them!!! These are really old, and someone gave them a lot of TLC to get them this big! They will be awesome when they bloom!
